I'm blessed to be surrounded by talent. They help me stay creative and they make life interesting.
My famlay, Loyiso Gola made me very proud last week when he celebrated ten years as a comedian with a one man show at the Montecasino Teatro. I'm in awe of his guts, I've always stated that he is among our funniest comedians but without a doubt he's our bravest.
This was a bold move, Fourways isn't close for some of us and above all he went up against the Durban July weekend and he won.
He killed it on stage as always with unmatched political satire and a unique style that reflects his unique personality. Often I've seen Loy take a lot of flack on Twitter for his opinions and I'm proud to have seen him convert numerous naysayers who doubted and criticized his television show.
Fact is, Loyiso Gola has the only comedy/satire show that has ever been connected to the news. If you know anything about e-tv, you know just how seriously they take the news.
Proud of my dude.
