Relationship Rules

If you've dated, even for a week... You've had the conversation about the rules. You get the tough guys who lie and say, "nah son I'm easy, I don't do rules."

You fake tough guys are lying through your teeth. Every couple has rules, some make sense, some seem crazy, but if that's not your relationship... You don't know shit.

My issue isn't the fact that rules exist, I'm all for boundaries and discipline, but there has to be balance. We live in a modern age so the rules have changed.

A man shouldn't be a allowed to simply dictate, tell his woman where to go, that her skirt is too short and that she shouldn't roam around a room without him. A man cannot simply expect to get home and have a cooked meal... He better get to the chopping and dicing his damn self.

A woman is no longer allowed to be unjustifiably upset. That whole thing of females being emotional and entitled to their random mood swings is a past tense... Explain why you are upset. Let him help you.

A man is not allowed to be jealous, but a woman can be as jealous as she wants... This must end.

A woman is expected to always look immaculate on his arm and be the trophy while his gut hangs out and he can look sloppy... This is childish. You wonder why she roams around.

Women are allowed to have male friends who are apparently harmless but dudes can't be friends with females because, "you know how you men are and you know she wants you"... Highly unfair. Men stuck in the friendship zone hate your boyfriend... They are simply waiting for his mistakes. Those friendship zone clowns are also the first dry-snitches to call your girl with some information about you.

Men, when it comes to your female relationships... Your women's territory is still hers. If you and your lady have a special restaurant for example, don't be taking your 'girl friend' there... Respect the boundaries.

Men complain that their women don't pay for enough stuff but we beef with our women when they work and possibly make more cash than us. Very few dudes can deal with a woman that earns more than them.

Chivalry should never die, a man should constantly sweep his woman off her feet but men want a woman to spoil them too. If a dude is down to his last R100, he'll figure out a way to make something happen for his woman... Something thoughtful and sweet. If a woman is down to her last R100, she'll simply tell you that's all she has and that's where it ends.

Women want to feel as though their men will love and want them forever. Men want to know that if things go bad, their women will hold them down with zero judgement. Both parties expect expect fidelity and both should be liable. No one sex is hornier than the other.

Rules are rules and my rule one and simple. Be yourself, do you, act however you want but if you get upset if when I mirror your actions, then surely your actions are wrong... This is unisex.
