Older and wiser?

So last week I felt a lot of love. Thank you to my friends and business associates for joining me on my birthday. I appreciate you for keeping the festivities off of the social networks.

Here are a few pics... Didn't put them all out.

No snitching

All love

Pepenero

We closed out our Cape Tour leg with a dope seaside lunch thanks to Head Honcho CEO, Nick Kaoma aka Nicky Barnes aka Nicky with the good hosts.

Pepenero in Sea Point was the business.

When in the Cape of good dope I like to deal with the good fish and I went in on the seafood platter... Ten out of Ten. Nicky worked the 1kg prawns, AKA worked the fish and chips and for once Dj Fanatic didn't eat chicken... My dude worked the calamari.

All was on point... The bill? Well it's Cape Town but spoil your pallet.

The spot is fresh, relaxed vibe... It was a bit nippy so Fanatic and I worked the blankets... Individually... No Iko Mash bazala.

Trust me

Vibing with Russian Bear

I love concepts and I love it when brands allow me to get involved in exposing brands to the public in a cool way.

Russian Bear vodka and New Balance have merged for a fresh concept and event and I can't wait.

With some of the coolest presentation and packaging I've ever seen, the Russian Bear/New Balance kicks were presented to me. This is the invite for a private party with a host of your favourite celebrities this weekend.

Best believe I'll be twitpic'n like crazy... Well done Russian Bear... Well done New Balance... Salute "Anything Goes" and salute wonted.co.za.

Let's have a big one

Where is the Altar Ego album?

So I recently did a search of myself on twitter. It was an eye-opener. It's fascinating to see what people really think of you, are too afraid to tell you but still dumb enough to put on the Internet... It's quite amusing.

It's safe to say that most of you don't know me but I'm quite content with that... That's how I move and perception is a tool that I utilize.

The one area that I must give clarity on, is the availability of the Altar Ego album and the misconception that I am holding it back... That would be stupid of me. It's the most hyped album right now.

The albums have been manufactured and we have them. The question is when will they be in Musica and other retailers... This depends on them and you. Retailers do not believe that hip-hop sells... In fact music sales are down over 60%. When they do buy, they literally buy five or so copies per store. We cannot survive like this.

I have urged you to go to Musica and co... Request the music. I have urged you to send an email... Show them the demand and they will provide the supply.

In the mean time, we are tying up deals with unorthodox retailers and we are on tour selling the album.

The album is available online. Many of you have expressed an issue with this. You have stated that you prefer hard copies. If this were true then the music business wouldn't be in trouble.

Digital is the norm... Look at Watch the Throne and Carter IV... Digital is the wave, you have no choice but to follow it.

We will not give up on the retailers... But please play your part. It's easy to complain and be demanding... Let's all help each other.

Altar Ego Tour

I am very tired. The road is currently taking its toll but I always knew it would.

The Altar Ego tour is well underway... and boy oh boy is it crazy.

The first stop was Botswana at "Bull n Bush"... This was unchartered territory for us... They showed love. We'll be back ASAP. What's really good with shutting down parties at 2am though? Y'all have some Zille laws.

Speaking of Zille... The next day was Cape Town. Alba Lounge was the next stop and it was extra special because it was in conjunction with or Head Honcho family... Wow!!

All love to everyone that came out. AKA and I have been debating but I really do believe that was his greatest performance yet.

Love to Nicky Barnes... You know what it is.

Love to Fanatic... You the glue

Love to AKA... You the truth

Love to the streets... We salute.

Cold sunnies

Although Spring is teasing us, a cold pair of sunnies is vital even in Winter.

I've always been a fan of Carrera shades... I think it's because I love Scarface the movie. These joints are too fresh.

Spitfire is the cheaper version but these are real deal.

Get yourselves a pair

Trust me
